Meet on the fourth Thursday of each month with the exception of November and December.
Meetings begin at 11:30 am with a sack lunch and fellowship. /mission and current information programs follow the business meeting.

United Methodist Women of St. Pauls focus on Missions
Several ladies attended East District Spiritual Growth meeting, “Dance with Hope“, at Livingston First UMC on March 21st. The meeting began at 9:30 with registration followed by a program and message by Rev. David Goran. Lunch was provided by the ladies of the church. Other opportunities for the other District events will be announced as they are offered.
Next regular meeting for our unit is on March 26th, at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a brown bag lunch including a drink. All ladies are invited and encouraged to attend these monthly meetings.
Jacob’s wife, Leah will be the featured Woman of the Bible presented by Ruth Stephenson. Each month a different Woman is presented by a different group member.
Please join all UMW in support of the 2015 project for UMCOR – school supplies for children in need. A collection box has been placed in the Narthex / Foyer for your donations. Goal for St. Paul’s is 50 packs. Help us exceed our goal.
- 1 pair blunt scissors (rounded tip only, metal not plastic)
- 3 pads of paper – 150 sheets or less, top bound or slide bound (1 pkg. of notebook paper can be substituted for each tablet)
- 1 hand held pencil sharpener at least 1 inch long
- 1 ruler, 30 centimeters (12″)
- 6 unsharpened pencils
- 1 box of crayons, 24 count
- 1 eraser 2″ or larger
- $1.00 for each pack provided for shipping costs
- (Everything must be plain, no symbols or logos)
St. Paul’s United Methodist Women …January Meeting
ten ladies braved COLD RAIN to start off the New Year with UMW on Jan. 22!! The weather was frightful, but the fellowship warm and inviting. Mrs. Bonnie Killam gave a beautiful presentation on Naomi. Each month a different ‘Woman of the Bible‘ will be showcased by a different member of our group. February’s topic is Rehab was presented by Marilyn Edens. Thank you Bonnie for braving the cold to give us a different look at the life and person of Noami.
Our February meeting on Thursday, the 26th at 11:30am. We enjoyed a brown bag lunch and great fellowship.
United Methodist Women of St. Paul’s are committed to providing 50 School Supply Kits for the 2015 UNCOR Hands on Project. the list of supplies will be available at our meetings.
St. Paul’s United Methodist Women … New Year… New Happenings!!
Several ladies from St. Paul’s attended the first UMW District Officers Training Session at Nacogdoches First UMC on January 1ih. Following the program and a message by Barbara Chamberlin the training sessions began with a break for lunch. Opportunities for other District events will be announced as they are offered.
The regular meeting for St. Paul‘s unit of UMW is on Jan. 22, at 11:30 AM. Bring a brown bag lunch including a drink. All ladies are invited and encouraged to attend the first meeting of 2015. Bonnie Killam will begin a study of Women of the Bible with Naomi.
Also, Ann Reyes will be sharing about her Prayer Shawl ministry. And ladies who wish to have and be a Secret Pal for 2015 will sign up and draw names. You must be present for this.
UMW actively supports mission work, both foreign and local. Taking part in UMW offers opportunities you and I would not be able to provide individually. Among the projects for 2015 will be a ” hands on” project for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), which provides school supply kits for children who do not have school supplies.
Bob Ford was the speaker at our October meeting where he discussed his mission to Haiti. The Hostesses were Juray Julian and Sharron Leatherman.
